I just noticed your info. I'm 32 miles from New london and worked for electric boat when I got out in 62. The boats I worked on trition, 250. 671,616, 626,628,633 and 676. that is the best I can remember. some were for repair and most new. The are amazing animals to say the least. I was a fitter for High pressure air and nuke piping. The base has really changed , it has been rebuilt and they still talk about closing it. jim

Yes Joe we were there at the same time. Nov 61 thru Aug 62. I still have a few copies of the Foghorn . I kept them for the stories on the Seabee birthdays. I was friends with the seabee queens and their husbands. It was along time ago and it is possible we knew the same people. I'm trying to locate some of the seabees and it has been so long and to remember details is tough.I did locate one 3 years ago and we met for the first time in 42 years. I was best man at his wedding . he married a newfy girl . Yesterday I located another and it has been 47 years and found out he lives just 45 miles from me in connecticut.computers are a beautiful thing for information. The base closed in 94 and the BOQ was imploded. ther is another site about Argentia. Send me your e-mail and I'll get it to you. it is mostly about airdale but ihas ver interesting stories and pics. Take care Jim
